The details below are shown for a small manufacturing facility cover 20,000 sq ft with a single compressor serving several pneumatic air tools on a single assembly line.

The Survey

The survey was conducted over a morning using the UE Systems Ultrasonic detector 3000. Leaks detected were individually labelled and a report was produced showing the cost of the air losses annually based on the working shift patterns provided by the company and the cost of energy being paid for by the company.

The Result

The table below shows that only 6 leaks were identified throughout the facility but with these small amount of leaks, annual losses were still in excess of £1200.
