How much are your air leaks really costing you?

Do you know how much money your compressed air system is wasting? A professional leak survey can show you the true cost.

Even a single 3mm air leak can waste over £900 every year. In many cases, up to 40% of your system’s energy is lost through leaks. That’s energy you’re paying for but not using—plus it adds to your business’s carbon footprint through unnecessary CO₂ emissions.

As more industries move toward sustainable practices, finding and fixing leaks is a simple way to cut costs and reduce environmental impact. An annual air leak survey is an easy step to keep your system efficient and your expenses under control.

At Compressed Air Audits, we use UE Systems’ patented software to locate and measure air leaks with precision. We provide clear advice on cost-saving opportunities so you can take action and boost your bottom line

Leak Detection Method

Compressed Air Leak Survey Pistol by UE Systems

Ultraprobe 3000

We use the latest ultrasonic handheld detectors from UE Systems to carry out compressed air leak surveys. When high-pressure air escapes through a leak, it creates high-frequency sound waves—too high for the human ear to hear. However, our advanced equipment can detect these signals with precision.

Because these sound waves are so focused, we can perform the survey during normal working hours, even in noisy factory environments, without disrupting your operations.

Our detectors can pick up leaks from a distance, including those at height. This means we can often avoid using costly access equipment—saving you money and making the process quicker and safer.

How is a Compressed Air Leak Survey carried out?

Our survey checks all compressed air lines, joints, and equipment for leaks. When a leak is found, we physically tag it and record the data in our device. Each tag includes details about the leak’s size and matches the digital reading.

Once the survey is complete, we provide a detailed report. This report lists every leak and estimates its individual cost to your business—based on your working hours and your current energy rates.
